Are you ready to shape the future of work at the intersection of human expertise and AI innovation? At Cvent, we’re committed to continuous learning and adaptation—AI isn’t just a tool for us, it’s part of our DNA. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to evolve alongside technology. If you love to experiment boldly, share your discoveries, and help define best practices for AI-augmented work, you’ll thrive here. Our team values professionals who thoughtfully integrate AI into their daily work, delivering exceptional results while relying on the human judgment and creativity that drive real innovation.

Throughout our interview process, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate how you use AI to learn, iterate, and amplify your impact. If you’re excited to be part of a team that’s leading the way in AI-powered collaboration, we’d love to meet you.

We are seeking a Product Manager, reporting to the Group Product Manager, to help drive Cvent Passkey, our room block management solution. Passkey is a room-block and group hotel reservation platform for events. It brings room inventory, rates, attendee bookings, and reservation management together, so attendees can book as part of the event experience and reservations can flow to hotel systems. By replacing spreadsheets, manual rooming lists, and back-and-forth with hotels with automated workflows and real-time reporting, Passkey helps organizers fill and manage room blocks with less effort and focus on delivering the event.

This role is for a product manager who understands, or is eager to master, how hotels contract and protect group business, and who is comfortable with data, integrations, and AI-assisted ways of working. You will work directly with customers, validate ideas with real prototypes, and own a defined area of the Passkey roadmap with support from senior product leaders.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Own a defined area of the Passkey roadmap and a small set of KPIs (such as planner adoption and email quality/performance). Instrument them, report on them recurringly, and tie shipped work to measurable change.
  • Champion the voice of the customer and talk to customers frequently. Planners, third-party housing agencies, and hotel sales and reservations teams. Combine what you hear with usage and support data to shape priorities.
  • Run continuous discovery. Gather insights through interviews, support data, and usage analytics. Test assumptions, and bring working prototypes to customer conversations
  • Manage backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery cadence. Partner with Engineering, Design, and QA on backlog, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to Passkey’s roadmap and strategy with the product leadership team, including monthly and quarterly planning.
  • Align stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing without relying on formal authority, and support go-to-market launches.
  • Work on integrations with hotel systems (CRS, PMS, and related reservation platforms) and with Cvent Registration, Event Management, and the Cvent Supplier Network.
  • Contribute to the definition and evaluation of AI-powered features, working with senior product leaders and Engineering to set quality criteria and review results.
  • Use AI in your daily work (research, synthesis, analysis, drafting) and share what works with the team.

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Either hospitality experience (hotel operations, group sales, or revenue management, with working knowledge of room blocks, rates, cutoffs, pickup, and attrition) or hands-on experience with PMS/CRS systems and third-party integrations (APIs, data feeds, reservation delivery).
  • Data fluency. Maintain dashboards for your domain. Comfort with quantitative concepts such as pacing and attrition is a plus.
  • Experience prototyping with AI tools and using prototypes in customer discovery. Working experience with AI-powered product features, including how output quality is measured.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • High ownership. You take initiative, unblock yourself, and bring options, not just problems.
  • Solid understanding of agile software development life cycles, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies, and deployment management.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer focus with an ability to align product development with business outcomes.

Preferred:

  • Experience with both hospitality and integration work.
  • Experience with event technology, registration platforms, or housing and room block tools.
  • Familiarity with third-party housing agencies.
  • Experience with multi-party products where planners, attendees, and suppliers depend on shared data.
  • Experience shipping AI-powered product features from problem definition through launch and iteration, including working with LLMs, prompt design, and evaluating AI output quality.

This role is ideal for a product manager who speaks fluent hotel operations, is energized by AI and data problems, and wants to own a product area that directly shapes how hotels and event organizers manage group room blocks together.

This job posting is intended to comply with all applicable laws. If we learn during the course of our recruitment process that, due to an applicant’s location, further information about the position is required, including certain salary information, this information in this posting will be supplemented accordingly.

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $90,000 - $135,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, details of which can be found here.
