Job description

Cultivator powered by Conexus is an award-winning tech incubator helping Saskatchewan’s most ambitious founders start, build, grow, and scale their companies right here in the province. Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Treaty 4 Territory, we believe the prairies are home to some of the world’s most resilient founders—and we’re here to prove Saskatchewan is the place to be, not just a place to be from. With a vibrant startup culture and a strong ecosystem of world-leading tech companies, we lead the way in bringing new products to market and helping high-growth companies raise capital, increase revenue, and grow their teams. Since 2019, we’ve worked with over 100 companies and have surpassed $115M in private capital raised.

Established in 2019, Cultivator runs two key program portfolios. The first is our core group of programs - START, BUILD, GROW, SCALE - focused on building and strengthening the Saskatchewan tech ecosystem. The second is the AGTECH ACCELERATOR, a global program located in the heart of Canadian agriculture and recognized by many as one of the top accelerators in the world. The AGTECH ACCELERATOR delivers world-class programming and provides unparalleled access to farmers, funders, industry, and founders, with goals centered on growing Canadian agtech innovation, attracting the best ag innovation to Canada, and supporting the adoption of agtech solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and motivated person to join us as Program Manager for the AGTECH ACCELERATOR at our College Avenue location in Regina, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will holistically manage Cultivator’s agtech portfolio by developing, refining, and delivering programming and objectives aligned to the overarching Cultivator strategy.

The bigger picture

We’re looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and motivated person to come on board as our Program Manager, at our College Avenue location in Regina, Saskatchewan. In this role, you'll help deliver world-class programming that supports innovative agtech founders as they grow, scale, and bring new solutions to market. You'll play a key role in strengthening Saskatchewan's position as a leader in agricultural innovation while creating meaningful impact for startups, industry, and the broader ecosystem.

How you’ll spend your time

Strategic program development

  • Researching, developing, and updating programs regularly to provide impact and value to startups.
  • Developing and delivering robust, high-caliber programs that align with the standard for top accelerator programs based on an understanding of founder, environmental and market needs.

Program delivery

  • Actively sourcing and recruiting high caliber candidates to participate in Cultivator programs.
  • Driving participant engagement in Cultivator program and ecosystem activities.
  • Ensuring a “founder-first” mentality through all program development and execution.
  • Providing support and guidance to Program Coordinators in executing program deliverables.
  • Producing program reports for stakeholders.

Program project management

  • Establishing processes to ensure complete and accurate documentation and tracking of metrics for programs and services.
  • Effectively managing program portfolio budgets.

Relationship management and ecosystem development

  • Developing, maintaining, and growing a highly curated network of expert mentors to provide guidance and support to Cultivator startups.
  • Representing Conexus and Cultivator at events in the business and technology communities.

The way people describe you

You are a strategic team player who thrives in dynamic, startup-focused environments. You possess a growth mindset, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to innovation driven by curiosity. With experience in program management and an understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, you excel at building high-impact programs and fostering meaningful relationships. Ideally, you have a strong understanding of agriculture and network with agtech startups. You also have strong insight into the challenges of growing and scaling ag innovation. Your ability to lead with a “founder-first” mentality ensures the delivery of top-tier experiences for founders.

The experience you bring

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a small business or entrepreneurial-related field
  • 5 years’ experience in a program manager or similar role
  • Experience in managing business incubator and accelerator programs is an asset
  • Agriculture experience is ideal

Salary range:

$80,729 - $100,911 with a 10% Short term incentive target
