What you will do:

Job Summary
Are you a creative thinker who thrives on bringing projects to life from concept to completion? We're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Creative Services team on an 18 month contract

At Cineplex, creativity goes beyond great design, compelling copy, and eye-catching videos. It is a way of driving our purpose to help Canadians discover moments of Escape at Canada's premier entertainment brands, including Cineplex Cinemas, The Rec Room, Playdium and more.

Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, as a Project Coordinator, you will be at the center of the creative process, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of projects and helping transform ideas into impactful campaigns and experiences. You will collaborate with creative team members and partners across the business, build and maintain project timelines, coordinate priorities, and ensure everyone has the information and resources they need to deliver great work on time.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge St, Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of small to medium-sized creative projects from initial brief through to final delivery, supporting campaigns and initiatives across brand marketing, social and digital content, food & beverage promotions, video production, email marketing, and more.
  • Be the first point of contact for new creative requests, reviewing incoming briefs and marketing plans, defining project requirements, and building realistic timelines that set projects up for success.
  • Lead project kick-off meetings that align creative team members on objectives, deliverables, timelines, and next steps, ensuring everyone starts with a clear understanding of expectations.
  • Partner closely with Designers, Copywriters, Video Producers, Web Developers, and freelance talent to coordinate workflow, remove roadblocks, and keep projects moving smoothly from start to finish.
  • Build strong relationships across the business by collaborating with Project Managers, creative partners, and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • See projects through to completion by delivering final creative assets, supporting accurate time tracking, and maintaining organized project files and archives for future reference.

Requirements

  • You bring 3+ years of experience supporting and coordinating creative projects within an agency, studio, or in-house creative environment.
  • You have 1+ years of hands-on project management experience, confidently managing timelines, priorities, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • You have a college or university diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You are comfortable working in a Mac-based environment and have a working knowledge of macOS.
  • You are familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Experience using Wrike or other project management platforms is considered an asset
  • You are a proactive self-starter and natural problem solver who remains organized, adaptable, and calm when priorities shift or deadlines are tight.
  • You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • You are a collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships across teams, values diverse perspectives, and approaches new challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and can tailor your approach to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • You are an active listener who can receive, interpret, and apply feedback to keep projects moving forward successfully.
  • You contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, helping foster collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to great work.
