  • Review engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation for completeness and alignment with project requirements.
  • Support engineering readiness assessments, design reviews, constructability reviews, commissionability reviews, and project stage-gate reviews.
  • Coordinate engineering consultants and technical interfaces to maintain consistency and continuity of the overall engineering solution.
  • Support the development and maintenance of engineering schedules, execution plans, estimates, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate technical inputs for procurement packages, tender preparation, bid evaluations, vendor reviews, and post-award engineering activities.
  • Ensure engineering documentation and deliverables meet applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Project Execution & Technical Support

  • Monitor engineering progress and communicate technical risks, constraints, deliverable status, and readiness concerns to project stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support during construction, field execution, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Coordinate the resolution of requests for information (RFIs), design changes, field conditions, and technical issues encountered during project execution.
  • Support engineering change management, technical documentation, project turnover, and operational readiness activities.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, construction teams, operations, and external stakeholders to maintain alignment between engineering deliverables and execution requirements.
  • Support technical reviews and project decisions to ensure engineering activities are appropriately completed before procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Promote effective communication, practical problem-solving, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with APEGS registration or eligibility for registration required.
  • Intermediate level: Approximately 4–9 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Senior level: 10+ years of relevant engineering and project delivery experience.
  • Experience supporting capital or sustaining projects within mining, industrial processing, energy, infrastructure, or other heavy industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities and technical interfaces.
  • Experience working with engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong understanding of engineering reviews, technical oversight, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges while maintaining alignment with project requirements and objectives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and technical problem-solving skills.
