Position: Regional Marketing Manager
Location: Edmonton, AB
Classification: Full-Time, Immediate Hire

AutoCanada is one of Canada's largest automotive dealership groups, representing a broad portfolio of OEM brands across our 60+ stores from coast-to-coast. Our National Marketing team partners with our dealerships to drive real business results.

We're looking for a Regional Marketing Manager who enjoys building relationships, thinking strategically, and bringing great ideas to life. You'll understand each store's business challenges, bring the right marketing resources together to solve them, and build trusted relationships with dealership leadership.

You'll act as a strategic partner to your dealers and work alongside our Media, Design, Web, and Operations teams to turn business problems into strategic marketing solutions across digital, traditional, and marketplace channels that deliver measurable results.

What You'll Do

Build strong dealer partnerships

  • Act as the primary marketing partner and trusted advisor to General Managers and dealership leadership across your portfolio.
  • Hold regular, two-way planning conversations with every store.
  • Identify opportunities to support dealerships through challenges, uncover areas for growth, and recommend solutions.

Focus on business outcomes

  • Understand each dealership's goals, performance, and most important business challenges.
  • Build recommendations that connect marketing investment, channels, creative, and timing to a defined store outcome.
  • Look beyond monthly campaign themes to programs that create sustained value.

Plan and prioritize with intent

  • Maintain a forward-looking plan for your brands, including OEM programs, dealership events, and upcoming challenges.

Lead across the Marketing team

  • Partner with your dedicated Media Buyer on strategy, channel mix, investment, and optimization.
  • Bring clear context, objectives, and requirements to Design, Web, and Operations and leverage their expertise to shape unique solutions.

Own the results

  • Share monthly performance results and turn data into insight and recommended actions.
  • Manage dealership marketing budgets and OEM co-op programs, and build business cases for incremental investment.
  • Follow through on commitments, raise risks early, and adjust plans based on results.
  • Keep Marketing leadership informed on brand performance, wins, challenges, and OEM changes.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, account management, or client services, ideally in automotive, retail, or a multi-location business.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including paid search, social, and website performance.
  • Comfort working with data, reporting, and budgets, and the ability to turn numbers into clear recommendations.
  • Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and handling difficult conversations constructively.
  • Strong planning and organization skills across multiple accounts and priorities.
  • A collaborative approach to working with creative, media, and technical specialists.
  • Automotive OEM or co-op program experience is an asset.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.

The Perks.

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package
  • Employee Vehicle Purchase & Service Plans
  • Employee and Family Assistance Programs
  • Company-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year
  • Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career
