Senior Analyst, Ecommerce & Digital Analytics

About the Role

TSC, the retail arm of Rogers, is one of Canada's top 10 eCommerce retailers, with a loyal customer base that shops with us across multiple channels. Our assortment covers fashion, jewellery, beauty, home and electronics, so every day brings new data and new questions to answer.

Reporting to the Director of Planning, Digital Product & Analytics, you'll be at the centre of how we make decisions as our eCommerce & Digital Analytics analyst. You'll work with Planning, Buying and Marketing to understand what drives performance and turn insights into action. Our teams move fast, so your recommendations won't sit in a deck: you'll see them put into practice quickly and measure the results.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Planning, Buying, Marketing and Digital teams to deliver analysis that drives sales, margin and customer growth.
  • Diagnose the root causes of changes in digital metrics such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment and returns.
  • Translate customer behaviour, search trends and product performance data into purchasing opportunities, assortment gaps and brand recommendations.
  • Analyze shipping costs, delivery times, free-shipping thresholds and fulfillment performance to find ways to reduce costs and improve the customer experience.
  • Measure and report on marketing channel performance, including paid search, shopping, paid social, email, affiliate and organic, with a focus on ROAS, attribution and incrementality.
  • Recommend how to allocate marketing budget based on channel performance and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards and recurring reports that give stakeholders a clear view of eCommerce performance.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Business Analytics, eCommerce, digital analytics or a related technology role
  • Proficient user experience with SQL and relational databases, experience building dashboards in tools such as PowerBI
  • Undergraduate university degree
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform large, complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs including inventory productivity, customer behavior, conversion, traffic, and assortment performance
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce, omnichannel, or consumer-focused environments is strongly preferred
  • Experience developing reporting frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level business reviews

What's in it for you:

We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team. As part of our team, you’ll have access to a wide range of incredible resources, growth opportunities, discounts, and perks, including:

  • Discounts:
    • Enjoy up to 50% off Rogers Services and Blue Jays Tickets, 25% off TSC items, and a 20% discount on all wireless accessories sold in Rogers stores.
    • Company matching contributions to charities you support
  • Growth & Development Opportunities:
    • Self-driven career development programs (E.g. MyPath program)
  • Rogers First:
    • Priority in applying to internal roles of interest
  • Wellness Programs:
    • Homewood employee & family assistance program
    • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Virtual therapy sessions
    • Low or no-cost fitness membership with access to virtual classes
    • Our commitment to the environment and diversity:
    • Work for an organization committed to environmental protection
    • Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion with employee resource groups supporting equity-deserving groups including groups representing People of Colour, 2SLGBTQIA+, Indigenous Peoples, Persons with
Disabilities and Women. We all bring something different, and we know what makes us different makes us great.
