Job description

Interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers? We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Fund Oversight for an existing vacancy on our Fund Oversight team. The Fund Oversight Team is responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic initiatives across our global pooled fund platform. The team monitors over 140 funds for 14 CC&L affiliates in 4 jurisdictions: Canada, Cayman, Europe and USA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is interested in investment fund oversight. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor NAVs, fund expenses, and accruals across pooled fund structures
  • Support fund launches, closures, and restructures in coordination with Legal, Product, and Transitions teams
  • Assist with fund distributions, year-end processes, and regulatory filings
  • Build and maintain internal fund data trackers
  • Assist with compiling board and audit deliverables
  • Monitor compliance of fund and client eligibility and taxability
  • Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, and fund trustees
  • Prepare fund-level reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support due diligence and investor inquiries
  • Assist with fee modeling and fund performance analysis
  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth fund operations
  • Participate in strategic projects such as fund platform enhancements and service provider reviews

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in investment, finance or banking. Experience with Canadian, US, Cayman or UCITS funds would be an asset. Understanding of different pooled fund structures would be a bonus (e.g. Trusts, Mutual Funds, CITs, LPs, UCITS, Master Feeders).
  • Collaborative approach working with others. You communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You own what you do, are dependable and can figure things out.
  • You are organized and can manage multiple tasks while staying on track with deliverables. You can set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • You can combine your enthusiasm, passion, curiosity, education and experiences to see the big picture, focus on the details, solve complex problems and communicate effectively. The team show these qualities every day and we are looking for like-minded individuals.

The expected base salary range for this position is $85,000–$100,000. The range represents our general market target for a fully qualified and experienced individual performing the role. Actual starting salary may fall below or above the midpoint depending on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
