This is an opportunity to shape a critical foundation for Autodesk's next generation of AEC products, unlocking new ways for customers and developers to work with connected design and engineering data.

We are looking for a leader with outstanding product judgment, deep experience building data products and platforms, and a proven ability to translate complex technology into customer and business value. You will lead a team of product managers and work across Autodesk's product and engineering organizations to drive strategy, alignment, and results.

This is a global, hybrid role based in the US, Canada, or UK, reporting to the VP of AEC Data, with travel up to 25%.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Drive the strategy for context-rich AEC data capabilities that connect domain entities, relationships, and semantics, enabling intelligent applications, connected workflows, and AI-powered experiences.
  • Own product priorities and roadmaps, balancing near-term customer value with long-term platform investments.
  • Lead product discovery, ensuring teams focus on meaningful customer problems and validate opportunities before committing to solutions.
  • Establish clear success metrics and drive accountability for product adoption, customer outcomes, and business impact.
  • Make strategic product and investment trade-offs, influencing executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders.

Data Products & Platforms

  • Lead the development of data products and platform capabilities that make complex AEC data accessible, interoperable, and reusable across applications and workflows.
  • Apply strong product thinking to data models, APIs, and services, treating them as products with clear customers, value propositions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, scalability, and long-term architectural evolution.
  • Drive adoption of shared data capabilities across Autodesk products, customers, and developer ecosystems.

Leadership & Influence

  • Build and lead a high-performing product management organization, developing product leaders and establishing a culture of strong product judgment, customer focus, and accountability.
  • Establish rigorous prioritization, continuous discovery, and outcome-driven product management practices.
  • Lead through influence across Autodesk's product, engineering, and business organizations to align priorities and deliver results
  • Engage with customers, partners, and senior executives to communicate product vision and shape strategic direction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software product management experience, including leadership of complex enterprise software, platform, or data products.
  • 5+ years leading and developing product management teams.
  • Demonstrated success building product data platforms or capabilities that model, connect, manage, and expose complex domain data across applications, including domain data models, APIs, and shared data services.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, identify customer opportunities, make investment trade-offs, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong product discovery skills and experience driving products from concept through adoption and growth.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer value and business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex product strategies, influence executive decisions, and inspire alignment across technical, business, and customer audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building data products and capabilities involving complex domain-specific data (e.g., engineering, design, manufacturing), including context graphs, knowledge graphs, semantic data models, or similar approaches to representing and connecting data relationships.
  • Understanding of AEC workflows, BIM, and industry data standards such as IFC.
  • Experience building platform ecosystems and driving adoption across multiple product teams or external developers.
