  • Translate business needs into integrated technology roadmaps spanning infrastructure, platforms, connectivity, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee large-scale infrastructure programs, including data centre modernization and migration, hybrid cloud integration, and network transformation.
  • Direct the design and deployment of enterprise voice, data, and wireless networks, including software-defined networking, private 5G, and distributed antenna systems.
  • Ensure infrastructure platforms deliver high availability, performance, security, and resilience within a 24/7 operating environment.
  • Drive the convergence of IT and operational technology environments and guide the design of secure IoT, sensor-based, and sensor fusion solutions.
  • Establish secure integration patterns across enterprise systems and operational platforms while promoting intelligent infrastructure and data-driven capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, vendors, consultants, and strategic partners to deliver complex technology programs on time and within budget.
  • Monitor program performance, manage risks and dependencies, and build strong vendor partnerships that provide access to leading-edge capabilities and services.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team across enterprise architecture, network engineering, IoT, and operational technology.
  • Foster accountability, continuous learning, inclusion, innovation, collaboration, and leadership capability across the team.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology architecture and infrastructure engineering, including proven leadership of large-scale infrastructure and transformation programs.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree or MBA is considered an asset.
  • Experience operating in a 24/7, high-availability environment and designing enterprise voice, data, and wireless networks.
  • Experience with data centre strategy, modernization, migration, and hybrid cloud integration, as well as integrating IT and operational technology environments.
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance practices, network infrastructure, and connectivity technologies.
  • Advanced leadership, stakeholder management, influencing, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Relevant industry certifications in architecture, networking, or cloud platforms. TOGAF, Azure or AWS Architect, CCNP/CCIE, ITIL or COBIT, PMP, CISSP, or GICSP certifications are considered assets.
  • Experience implementing private wireless networks and IoT ecosystems, working in highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments, or leading enterprise-wide modernization and digital transformation initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of airport or transportation infrastructure systems, cybersecurity frameworks for IT/OT environments, and strong business and financial acumen is considered an asset.
  • The ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
