Job description

About Blaze

We’re building the world’s first agentic marketing platform around a simple belief: the world doesn’t need more AI slop. It needs more human taste, judgment, and creativity. Blaze is built to amplify those qualities, using AI to help small teams create extraordinary marketing that drives real growth at a fraction of the cost of working with an agency.

With Blaze, customers can spin up new channels quickly, create high-quality marketing content, and publish across ads, video, social, blog, and email from one place, with results that compound over time.

Blaze has served tens of thousands of small business owners and growing teams. Now, we’re scaling the platform and our team as we work toward serving millions of customers.

That’s where you come in. We’re hiring a Product Manager to help set and uphold the quality bar for what Blaze ships. You’ll ensure our outputs reflect strong taste, thoughtful use of AI, and a deep understanding of what drives real growth for our customers.

About the role

At Blaze, Product Managers aren’t backlog organizers or consensus collectors. They’re people with taste who bring strong, well-formed opinions about what great looks like, grounded in real customer insight, and fight for quality even when it’s inconvenient.

You’ll work alongside engineering, design, and marketing to set a bold roadmap and ship products that feel deliberate, cohesive, and high-quality. You’ll also play a role in uncovering new opportunities, taking them from 0 to 1, and staying accountable for the outcomes.

We’re looking for spiky PMs with real product taste—people who form strong opinions, take responsibility for them, and learn fast when they’re wrong.

This ideal PM for Blaze is a curious technologist: someone who actively explores new AI products, thinks about where the space is headed, and can translates emerging capabilities into concrete customer value.

You don’t just follow trends—you play with them, form opinions, and imagine what’s next.

This is a hard role. It requires judgment, conviction, and care. But if you love our mission, obsess over customers, and believe great products are felt—not just shipped—you’ll feel at home here.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work with our leadership team set product direction and priorities, with clear accountability for the quality and consistency of what Blaze ships to customers.

  • Own the product development lifecycle end to end—deciding what gets built, what gets fixed, and what gets cut—while holding a high bar for the outputs that reach production.

  • Partner closely with engineering and design leadership to guide technical and design execution, make tradeoffs, and ensure every release meets expectations for reliability, usability, and output quality.

  • Collaborate with our customer and marketing teams to identify the highest-impact product opportunities, using customer feedback and product data to continuously raise the quality and usefulness of Blaze’s output.

About you

At Blaze, how we work is as important as what we build. We're on a mission to create something ambitious, and our culture is central to that aim.

We move fast, own our work, and get things done. This is a high-ownership, high-growth environment where feedback fuels progress. If you're ambitious, proactive, and driven to build something meaningful, you’ll thrive here.

We love to hire people who:

  1. Care deeply about their work. You can't help but to be all in, and you're ready to swing big to make things happen, no matter what it takes!

  2. Are amazingly competent. You move fast, crush complexity, master the unknown, and power through anything.

  3. Are hyper structured thinkers and communicators. You’re often right, crave feedback, and write like a pro → clear, data-driven, and to the point.

  4. Move faster than anyone they know. You set bold timelines, crush them, and move faster than anyone - never letting process slow you down.

  5. Have professional maturity. You stay calm, assume good intent, and keep work fun - while building strong, easy relationships.

Experiences that make you stand out

  • Product training and experience at a top tier technology company

  • At least one tour of duty in a high-growth startup environment (Series B/C preferred)

  • Hands-on experience shipping AI-native features in production - bonus points for image/video generations or agent-based workflows

  • Building for SMB/prosumer segments where output quality directly impacts metrics

  • Success stories that prove your ability to drive improvements in conversion, retention, monetization, or expansion metrics

Skills that make you extraordinary

  • AI Systems Architect: you think in prompt and model pipelines, know how to set up eval structures, and can design for impact v. cost/latency constraints.

  • Elite Taste & Output Judgment: you can articulate what makes content feel agency-grade and brand-worthy, and can backwards engineer how to produce it with AI.

  • Retention & NRR Instinct: you evaluate product decisions based on conversion, retention, and expansion, and feels responsible for revenue impact, not just shipping.

  • Radical Simplicity Discipline: you're ruthless about scope, and can distill complex AI capability into intuitive, minimal user experiences, knowing what to keep v. cut.

  • Founder-Level Ownership: you operates like a CEO of your metrics or feature areas, making decisions decisively, navigating ambiguity calmly, and protecting team velocity.

Our Team

At Blaze, we’re looking for structured thinkers full of passion, ambition, and kindness. We’d love for you apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your experience, skills, and interests will help you stand out—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. At Blaze, we welcome people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. Join us.

Our Commitment to You

We’re building a space where you can do exceptional work for decades. We commit to fostering a culture where work feels joyful, rewarding, and sustainable—a place where people are valued not just for what they do, but for who they are.

What you'll get from us:

  • Collective support—and mentorship from your manager—in achieving major wins

  • Encouragement to take risks, try new things, and be creative with your work

  • Opportunities to exchange and engage in feedback

  • Continual chances to stretch yourself and raise your own bar

  • Rewards for achieving excellence and mastery

  • The satisfaction of building a game-changing AI marketing solution to help small businesses save time, drive sales, and grow with their marketing on autopilot.

Interviewing at Blaze

It’s our goal to provide an efficient, transparent interview experience that respects you and your time. Our roles typically have a four stage process (sometimes more) and we like to move through those as quickly as calendars allow. After submitting your application you will hear from us whether you are a strong fit for the role or not! From here you can expect:

  1. An initial screen with our Lead Recruiter

  2. An interview with our COO

  3. A take-home exercise demonstrating your skills as a PM

  4. A leadership interview with our CEO

  5. Peer panel with our product, design, and engineering leads
