Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, AI-native Platform based in Canada.

In this role, you will take ownership of a key area of an innovative, AI-native product platform, driving initiatives from customer discovery and product strategy through development, launch, and measurable business outcomes. You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data, customer experience, and product innovation, helping shape the next generation of digital engagement solutions. Partnering closely with engineers, designers, commercial teams, and restaurant customers, you will transform real-world needs into impactful product experiences. You will leverage advanced AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate research, prototyping, and product delivery. With significant autonomy and a broad mandate, you will influence product direction while helping redefine how modern product teams operate. This is an opportunity to join a profitable, fully remote, AI-first technology environment where ownership, experimentation, and measurable impact are central to success.

Accountabilities:

  • End-to-end product ownership: Lead a strategic area of the platform from discovery and problem definition to product development, launch, and performance evaluation. Take accountability for business outcomes and customer impact, not simply delivery milestones.
  • Customer discovery and research: Maintain close relationships with restaurant operators and marketing professionals through regular conversations. Analyze customer feedback, sales calls, support interactions, CRM records, product analytics, and usage data to identify meaningful needs and opportunities.
  • Product strategy and prioritization: Translate customer insights and business signals into clear product strategies, requirements, and roadmaps. Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Partnerships, Engineering, and Data teams to prioritize initiatives based on measurable value and organizational objectives.
  • Rapid prototyping and product development: Transform customer feedback into product concepts, specifications, and functional prototypes that can be tested quickly with customers. Drive iterative development cycles, gathering feedback and refining solutions before full implementation.
  • AI-native product innovation: Design and develop AI-powered product experiences, including intelligent segmentation, automated customer recovery, campaign recommendations, merchant analytics, and agentic capabilities. Help determine how AI-driven intelligence can create value and build customer trust.
  • Agentic development and collaboration: Work directly with AI coding agents and development tools to translate precise specifications into implementation-ready tasks. Review AI-generated outputs, assess technical quality, identify shortcomings, and collaborate with engineers to ensure reliable delivery.
  • Data-driven product experiences: Leverage order, loyalty, customer, and behavioral data across multiple brands to develop actionable insights and improve merchant decision-making. Help transform complex datasets into meaningful product capabilities.
  • Product development process improvement: Contribute to the evolution of internal AI-powered product workflows, tools, templates, agent capabilities, and quality standards. Identify opportunities to improve speed, consistency, and collaboration across the product organization.
  • Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products used by real customers. Experience in B2B SaaS environments, particularly data-intensive platforms, is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools and agentic workflows, such as Claude Code, Codex, or comparable solutions. Ability to independently build prototypes, scripts, and workflows using these technologies.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset, with the ability to distinguish individual requests from broader customer needs and identify meaningful patterns through qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Technical fluency, including the ability to understand database schemas, write queries, follow pull requests, and engage confidently with engineers on technical decisions and implementation trade-offs.
  • Excellent written communication and structured thinking skills, with the ability to create clear, detailed product specifications that can guide both human teams and AI agents.
  • Strong strategic judgment and analytical capabilities, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions, evaluate product performance, and connect product initiatives to business outcomes.
  • High ownership and autonomy, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, manage competing priorities, and move initiatives forward with limited supervision.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Based in Canada or the United States, with the ability to work remotely within North America.
  • Nice to have:

  • Experience in the restaurant, retail, commerce, or hospitality industries, particularly with POS systems, digital ordering, loyalty platforms, or marketing technology.
  • Previous experience developing and launching AI- or machine-learning-powered features, including recommendation engines, intelligent segmentation, autonomous agents, or conversational interfaces.
  • Experience building two-sided platforms where business customers and end users have distinct needs and expectations.
  • Public contributions to product management discussions through articles, presentations, open-source projects, or other resources exploring the evolution of AI-driven product development.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive Canadian salary: Annual compensation ranging from CAD $140,000 to $161,000, depending on experience, location, and internal leveling.
  • Equity participation: Opportunity to participate in the company's equity program, with all employees receiving equity.
  • Additional compensation: Potential eligibility for additional compensation and benefits, depending on the applicable package.
  • 100% remote work: Fully remote working environment, with the team operating primarily across Canada and the United States.
  • AI-first culture: Access to advanced AI development tools, including Claude Code, with an unlimited token budget to support experimentation and productivity.
  • Professional autonomy: Significant ownership over product strategy, decision-making, and execution, with opportunities to shape the direction of the platform.
  • Innovation and learning: Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies, agentic development systems, and evolving product management methodologies.
  • Collaborative environment: Work alongside experienced professionals in a culture that values bold thinking, reliable execution, diverse perspectives, and continuous improvement.
  • Career development: Opportunities for internal growth, increased responsibility, and professional advancement.
