  • Establish and promote best practices for AI-centered automation, governance, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Drive backup, disaster recovery, and multi-regional availability strategies.

Enterprise IT

  • Manage strategic vendor relationships, Enterprise SaaS architecture and service optimization.

  • Collaborate with IT Support, Legal and InfoSec to enhance IAM, data retention, and compliance.

Security & Compliance

  • Partner with InfoSec on security incident response and enforcement of best practices.

  • Align cloud operations with security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

  • Improve RBAC and least-privilege access models.

Product Team Partnership

  • Enable product engineering, DevOps, operations and support teams with secure, cost-effective infrastructure.

  • Define provisioning guidelines that align with performance, security, and budget goals.

  • Provide cloud architecture advice for new product initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Define and execute the corporate cloud roadmap in line with company strategy.

  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI tools.

  • Represent IS in cross-functional leadership forums.

Safers come from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity in skills and knowledge. That said, we find that those who are most successful in this role have experience with the following areas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical experts.

  • Strong grasp of FinOps, IT automation, and governance practices.

  • Security and compliance expertise (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Cost optimization tools and dashboarding (e.g., CloudHealth, AWS Cost Explorer).

  • Security best practices, including IAM and RBAC.

  • Ability to clearly communicate strategy and technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to AI-driven solutions in IT/cloud environments.
