Company Overview:

Teifi Digital, a Shopify Plus Platinum partner, excels in resolving complex e-commerce challenges. We focus on integrating large catalogs, sophisticated data frameworks, and legacy systems into seamless unified commerce and B2B solutions, delivering unparalleled customer experiences. Our skill in deploying Shopify Plus caters to top-tier merchants in manufacturing, parts, distribution, retail, and B2B, ensuring minimal technical debt and maximized e-commerce revenue.

Role Overview:

As Teifi Digital continues to grow, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to own and lead our Talent Acquisition function.

This is a high-volume, hands-on recruitment role in a fast-growing organization. Teifi has doubled its headcount over the past three years, and we have no plans to slow down. You will play a critical role in helping us continue to attract and hire exceptional talent at scale across technical, product, delivery, corporate, and other business functions.

You will own the Talent Acquisition function from recruiting strategy and process through sourcing, selection, offers, and closing. You will work closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, provide market and talent insights, build effective recruiting strategies, and ensure we are consistently bringing the right talent into the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys high-volume recruiting, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and owning the TA function end-to-end. You should be equally comfortable developing the strategy for how we hire and rolling up your sleeves to source, interview, close, and hire great people.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Function Ownership

  • Own and continuously evolve Teifi Digital’s Talent Acquisition strategy and function.
  • Establish scalable recruiting strategies that support Teifi’s continued growth and high-volume hiring needs.
  • Partner with leadership to understand business priorities and upcoming hiring needs, bringing Talent Acquisition expertise and market insights to these conversations.
  • Translate approved hiring needs into clear, effective recruiting strategies and execution plans.
  • Advise leaders on talent availability, market conditions, compensation expectations, candidate profiles, and competitive hiring practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how Teifi attracts, evaluates, and hires talent as the company grows.
  • Own the overall performance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition function.

Leadership & Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Act as a trusted Talent Acquisition advisor to leadership and hiring managers across the organization.
  • Lead recruiting intake conversations to ensure roles are clearly defined and aligned with business needs.
  • Challenge and advise hiring managers when appropriate, helping establish realistic expectations around role requirements, candidate profiles, compensation, and timelines.
  • Develop effective recruiting strategies with hiring managers for both immediate and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Provide guidance throughout the hiring process to ensure hiring managers are equipped to make strong, timely decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and hiring managers and become a trusted partner in their hiring efforts.

High-Volume, Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for a high volume of roles across technical, product, delivery, corporate, and other business functions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent searches while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality and experience.
  • Lead sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer negotiation, and closing activities.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill positions, including proactive engagement with passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines across relevant markets and disciplines.
  • Personally lead priority and senior-level searches while determining when external recruiting partners may be appropriate.
  • Sell candidates on Teifi’s vision, culture, growth trajectory, and opportunity, particularly during the closing stage.
  • Ensure a strong, consistent, and thoughtful candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Own the candidate relationship through the offer and closing stage, partnering with the appropriate internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into the onboarding process.

Talent Pipeline & Employer Brand

  • Build proactive talent communities and pipelines for roles we anticipate hiring for in the future.
  • Develop creative and effective approaches to attract talent in competitive markets.
  • Help strengthen Teifi Digital’s employer brand and how we communicate our culture, work, growth opportunities, and employee experience to prospective candidates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our presence across relevant talent channels, communities, and professional networks.
  • Develop relationships with potential candidates before a role is formally open where appropriate.

Talent Acquisition Operations & Process

  • Own and continuously improve the Talent Acquisition process, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and provides a consistent candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Establish and maintain recruiting processes, documentation, interview practices, and hiring guidelines.
  • Leverage Teifi’s investment in Rippling and other tools to improve recruiting workflows, reporting, and overall efficiency.
  • Establish meaningful Talent Acquisition metrics and reporting to provide visibility into hiring activity, pipeline health, time to hire, quality of hire, and other key indicators.
  • Use recruiting data and insights to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, processes, sourcing channels, and external partners where they can improve hiring outcomes.

Talent Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Bring current market intelligence and talent trends to leadership to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Monitor competitive hiring activity, compensation trends, talent availability, and candidate expectations.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of our Talent Acquisition strategy and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition function as Teifi grows.
  • Establish best practices that enable Teifi to attract and hire exceptional talent at scale.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or full-cycle recruiting, with experience taking ownership beyond individual requisitions.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with leaders and hiring managers on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and organizational needs.
  • Strong experience recruiting across technical, product, delivery, or other specialized functions.
  • Strong sourcing skills and a proven ability to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
  • Experience developing proactive talent pipelines and recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand organizational goals and translate them into talent strategies.
  • Comfortable using recruiting data and market insights to influence decisions and make recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with both candidates and senior leaders.
  • Highly organized and able to balance strategic priorities with hands-on recruiting execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment with evolving priorities.
  • Experience building or improving Talent Acquisition processes and systems is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, digital/e-commerce, technology, or high-growth environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, e-commerce, digital product, or professional services environments is an asset.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary: $100,000 to $125,000 based on experience
  • Opportunity for professional development with training, certifications, peer mentorship
  • Hybrid working environment
  • Flexible full-time working hours
  • Health and dental coverage in Canada
  • Learn skills outside your direct role and try new disciplines and challenges to grow into new roles or transfer practices
  • Team culture events
  • Performance bonus opportunities for full-time employees pending probationary period passage

    Professional Growth & Performance

At the core of Teifi Digital, we foster a culture of growth and continuous learning. Your growth and professional development path is in your control.
