Job description

Technical Integration Specialist (One Year Contract)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Procurify is the agentic procurement platform that helps mid-market organizations get complete control over their spend. We’re trusted by hundreds of companies around the world, across industries like biotechnology, education, health care, manufacturing, and software, to manage over $100B in spend. We’re looking for a talented and team-driven Technical Integration Specialist to join us on our journey.

In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between our Engineering team, our Go-To-Market teams, and external vendors. You will sit within the Engineering organization, but your focus will be on the successful deployment and maintenance of punchout integrations that power our purchasing flows. You will triage incoming requests, manage direct communication with vendors, and ensure technical hurdles are removed to help customers purchase through their preferred suppliers.

Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset. You will build strong relationships across our business, advocate for customer outcomes, and approach challenges with curiosity and quick decision making. We are looking for someone who brings an entrepreneurial approach, questions the status quo, and contributes to our larger strategic goals as we scale.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

Supplier Integration & Punchout Management

Own the Punchout Lifecycle: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for implementing punchouts in our Product. You will coordinate directly with external vendors to obtain necessary credentials, configure integration settings, and validate connectivity.

Testing & Implementation: Rigorously test connections to ensure data integrity and seamless user experience before releasing integrations to customers. You will add and configure punchouts directly within the product.

External Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with non-technical and technical representatives to resolve credentialing or configuration blockers.

Internal Collaboration & Support

Triage & Prioritize: Receive and triage integration requests from Customer Success and Sales team members. You will assess technical requirements and prioritize work based on business impact and customer urgency.

Technical Troubleshooting: Operate as a Tier-2 technical resource to diagnose and resolve complex configuration issues. You will investigate defects and performance bottlenecks related to punchout workflows.

Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with the broader Engineering team to resolve issues or suggest architectural improvements for the punchout framework.

Tooling & Automation

Python Development: Utilize Python to implement and test cXML punchouts configurations in the product.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for punchout workflows and vendor-specific configurations to ensure accurate knowledge transfer.

KPIs: Punchout time-to-value, Ticket resolution time (MTTR).

Lead With CARES:

Commitment: Demonstrates accountability and follow-through, delivering reliably and owning outcomes in a way that others can depend on.

Ambition: Takes initiative with curiosity and a growth mindset, pursuing bold ideas that elevate impact and performance.

Resilience: Shows adaptability, composure, and perseverance through challenges, staying focused and effective in a fast-changing environment.

Excellence: Brings rigor, collaboration, and a strong quality focus to deliver high-performing solutions and raise the bar for outcomes.

Simplicity: Applies focus, clarity, and streamlining to cut through complexity and enable efficient, impactful execution.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in technical support, implementation engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role within SaaS.

Python Proficiency: Experience with Python, including reading, debugging, and working within established codebases.

Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable leading conversations with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of web technologies and API concepts (REST, HTTP protocols). Familiarity with data formats such as cXML or JSON is highly valued.

Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work autonomously to resolve configuration and connectivity issues.

Empathetic & Accountable: You act with compassion, believe that your team's success is your success, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Maintains a professional and current LinkedIn profile, ensuring it is updated upon joining Procurify to reflect their new role and maintain a consistent company presence.
