Job description

John Fluevog Boots & Shoes is looking for a skilled, design-forward Technical Designer, Accessories who is excited about the idea of working with a team of multi-talented, hard-working, and hugely modest professionals to bring genuinely special handbags, small leather goods and accessories into the world.

We would love it if you have at least 5 years of experience in small leather goods design and development, and you should know your way around Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tech drawings. Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers on sampling and costing is a big asset, and a background in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle product development will feel right at home here. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a genuine eye for quality and craft who can hold that standard through every stage of development, and who is curious and open-minded about where the accessories category could go next.

Other stuff you will be in charge of:

  • Developing accessories collections in alignment with seasonal creative direction

  • Sourcing and building relationships with suppliers and manufacturers

  • Managing development timelines, sample revisions, and product lifecycle tracking

  • Collaborating with our footwear product team, buying team, and Creative Director

  • Staying across trends and bringing ideas to the table as the programme grows

Think you have what it takes? Apply below with your resume, cover letter, and (most importantly) your portfolio. We would love to see work that shows your technical design chops alongside your sense of style.

We look forward to meeting you (especially you)!
