Two gentleman looking for Community Support Workers to support them for various support shifts
This would be a perfect opportunity for you, if, like me, you enjoy spending time getting out in the community, looking at magazines, completing daily chores, and listening to music (Elvis Presley in particular). I care deeply about my parents and enjoy spending time with them and the staff that support me. I enjoy collecting DVD’s, and cooking. I enjoy meeting people and shaking their hands, and I really enjoy spending time walking in the community.
Knowing some sign language would help you communicate with me, but you should also be keen on observing the other ways that I communicate my needs (without using words).
Positive Behavior Support Training would be an asset in this position.
