Job description

Growth Marketing Manager

Alternative Payments is building the financial operating system for SMBs, consolidating the disconnected tech stack that holds service-based businesses back. Starting with MSPs, we've spent five years perfecting accounts receivable, and we're now expanding into accounts payable, AI-powered analytics, and beyond. We're at an inflection point: closing the loop on money movement and laying the foundation for a platform that will reshape how service businesses operate financially.

We're growing fast, thinking big, and building a global team that wants to be part of something that lasts. We believe the best solutions come from diverse perspectives, deep collaboration, and a shared obsession with customer impact. If you're energized by real problems, real customers, and real impact, we want to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager focused on paid media and webinars to turn paid acquisition and webinar programs into dependable sources of qualified demand. You will reach MSPs, IT companies and accounting firms across the United States and Canada, connecting campaigns to successfully completed demos and sales pipeline.

You will report to our Manager, Demand Generation, and own day-to-day paid media and the full webinar program. Our in-house content team creates campaign and webinar assets. You will set briefs, coordinate delivery and use performance insights to guide iteration. Dedicated email and social marketers support promotion. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct reports.

We are looking for demonstrated success scaling a paid-acquisition or webinar channel in B2B SaaS. Exceptional paid-media expertise is particularly valuable. You should be comfortable explaining the decisions behind your results and using AI agents and automation to improve how you work.

This role is available to candidates who are eligible to work in Canada. You must be Toronto-based and able to work our hybrid schedule (in office Mon–Wed).

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day paid acquisition across Google, LinkedIn and Meta. Partner with the Manager, Demand Generation on strategy, budget allocation and performance priorities, then lead setup, targeting, creative testing, optimization and reporting within the agreed plan.

  • Expand the paid-channel portfolio through disciplined experiments. Evaluate Reddit and emerging advertising platforms, including ChatGPT where access and audience fit support a useful test. Define success criteria and recommend which channels to scale.

  • Own the full webinar program: plan topics and the calendar, recruit and prepare speakers, host and moderate sessions, manage event operations, and coordinate promotion and follow-up. Grow the cadence from one webinar a month toward two to three per month in 2027.

  • Connect webinars to paid and email demand generation. Partner with the email marketer and content team on promotion and nurture, and improve the journey from registration and attendance to a successfully completed demo.

  • Build practical AI workflows for audience research, campaign planning, experiment design, program operations, analysis and reporting. Check the quality of the output and share useful workflows with the team.

  • Build a strong working relationship with Sales to review demo quality, understand customer objections, coordinate follow-up and use feedback to improve paid campaigns and webinars.

  • Work in two-week agile sprints. Prioritize an experiment backlog, coordinate delivery with channel partners, review results and adapt the next sprint based on what you learn.

  • Partner with Demand Generation and content on campaign and landing-page improvements. Brief the content team on asset needs and prioritize iterations using completed demos, pipeline quality and acquisition efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant growth, performance or demand-generation marketing experience, including B2B SaaS, with evidence that you have scaled paid acquisition or webinars and improved commercial outcomes. Success in either channel can qualify you; depth in paid media is our strongest preference.

  • Hands-on paid-media execution skills and the ability to explain your targeting, creative, bidding, budget and optimization decisions. Bring examples of what you personally owned, what changed and the results.

  • Strong analytical judgment. You can follow the journey from spend or webinar registration to a completed demo and pipeline, identify attribution limitations and separate an encouraging signal from a result worth scaling.

  • Practical fluency with AI agents and automation. You can demonstrate workflows you have built or used to research, produce, analyze or automate marketing work. No single AI vendor is required.

  • Curiosity, initiative and sound experimental judgment. You can identify an opportunity, test it, learn from an unsuccessful attempt and decide what to do next.

  • The ability to coordinate work across content, email, social and Sales, and the confidence to host and moderate live webinars, prepare speakers and facilitate useful audience conversations.

  • Strong ownership. You take responsibility for your channels, flag risks early and follow through on commitments.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience marketing to MSPs, IT service providers or accounting firms, or working in fintech and payments

  • Success building webinar programs, partner-led events or integrated paid and email campaigns

  • Experience validating a new acquisition platform and explaining when additional investment was justified

  • Familiarity with agile marketing or cross-functional teams using two-week sprints, prioritized backlogs and regular reviews

  • Technical confidence with tracking, CRM reporting, integrations, landing-page experiments or lightweight code and automation

  • Experience with HubSpot, Instantly, n8n, Zoom or equivalent tools

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary tailored to your experience, skills, and expertise.

    • The total compensation range for this role is $120,000 - 145,000 CAD, plus equity. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position. Individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, education/training.

  • Equity opportunities so you can share in our growth and success.

  • Unlimited PTO and flexibility when you need it the most.

  • Yearly learning & development stipend to help you grow and do your best work.
