The Kindred team is at the heart of our cooperative, bringing our values to life every day. More than financial professionals, we care deeply about our members and our communities. With integrity, stewardship and compassion, we work to connect values and faith with finances, inspiring peaceful, just and prosperous communities.

We are currently recruiting a Manager, Credit Administration.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Credit Administration and Support, you will lead Kindred’s centralized Credit Administration team, helping deliver timely, accurate and compliant service to borrowing members and lending teams. You will develop people, manage daily operations and lead the team through changes to systems, policies and processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality and resolve issues. Ensure effective controls over loan documentation, security registration, funding conditions, payouts and discharges. Resolve complex situations with Credit Risk and personal and business banking lenders, and escalate material risks to the Senior Manager.
  • Lead improvement and change. Keep procedures and workflows current, improve efficiency and consistency, and guide the team through projects and approved changes. Coordinate training for credit administrators and lending teams.

What to bring

With a people-first mindset, you build capability through clear expectations, practical coaching and regular feedback. You build relationships through collaboration, clear communication and reliable follow-through. You build solutions by applying sound judgment to complex issues, strengthening processes and helping people adapt to change. You balance service expectations with accuracy and effective risk controls. You will also bring an active commitment to Kindred’s shared values and purpose.

Plus you bring your qualifications and experience

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Four to five years of experience in financial services, preferably with lending expertise across retail and business credit.
  • People leadership experience and demonstrated ability to coach, train and mentor others.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to credit administration, including loan documentation, security registration, funding, payouts and discharges.
  • Proven aptitude for process improvement and change leadership.
