Job description

Build something meaningful. Lead with purpose. Support the people behind Saskatchewan businesses.

At Virtus Group, we work alongside businesses at every stage of their journey from first bold steps into entrepreneurship to navigating growth, complexity, and succession. We are trusted advisors, community partners, and advocates for our clients’ success.

We are seeking a Manager to join our private enterprise team, supporting a diverse portfolio of local businesses across Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for a well-rounded CPA who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building deep client relationships.

Why this role is different

This is an opportunity to be part of a strong, collaborative manager group where your voice matters. You’ll work with passionate professionals who care deeply about client service, mentorship, and community impact. You’ll have the flexibility to structure your work in a way that aligns with your life, and the support to grow your career in the direction you choose.

Whether you’re based in Regina or working remotely, you’ll be fully integrated into the team and connected to clients and colleagues who value trust, responsiveness, and thoughtful advice.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • CPA designation with 2–5 years of progressive, post-CPA experience in public practice or a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to see the big picture and identify opportunities to add value for owner-managed clients.
  • Confidence managing client relationships end-to-end, including planning, delivery, and communication.
  • A genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and an interest in contributing beyond client files — whether that’s firm initiatives, committees, or business development.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Manage and advise a portfolio of owner-managed business clients across a wide range of industries.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate growth, challenges, and key business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Managers as part of a supportive leadership group.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, contributing to the development of the next generation of professionals.
  • Participate in firm led business development activities.
  • Get involved in firm committees and initiatives that shape how we work, serve clients, and support our communities.

Why Virtus Group

  • Pension plan
  • Generous vacation and personal days
  • Summer Fridays off
  • Ongoing professional development and career support
  • Flexible work arrangements - you decide how your work and life fit together
  • Parking (where applicable)
