Ready to work on enterprise-scale network transformations?
We're looking for a hands-on Network Data Specialist III to join a high-performing infrastructure team supporting critical enterprise networking initiatives. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll make an immediate impact—working on major data centre migrations, next-generation firewall deployments, and complex network projects in a large enterprise environment.
If you're someone who enjoys solving challenging networking problems, thrives in project-based work, and can confidently work across the full infrastructure stack, we'd love to hear from you.
Advantages
This isn't a maintenance-only role—you'll be driving some of the organization's most important infrastructure initiatives, including:
Lead and support a large-scale data centre migration
Migrate approximately 500 firewalls from Cisco to Fortinet, including translating, validating, and implementing firewall configurations
Execute enterprise network changes while ensuring business continuity
Support complex LAN/WAN environments and provide Tier 2 & Tier 3 troubleshooting
Implement approved security-related network changes in partnership with the Information Security team
Maintain automation scripts and improve operational efficiency using Python and Ansible
Monitor enterprise network health, capacity, and performance
Participate in architecture discussions, project planning, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure
Execute complex network changes and upgrades
Troubleshoot critical production issues across enterprise environments
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and project teams
Translate business and technical requirements into network configurations
Maintain accurate technical documentation
Provide technical leadership and mentorship on complex networking issues
Ensure network performance, stability, and security across the environment
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week onsite in Mississauga
Thursday is the team's anchor day
Company-provided laptop and mobile phone
Occasional evening or weekend work during planned maintenance windows for major infrastructure changes
No regular on-call rotation
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up.
The ideal candidate has broad infrastructure experience and enjoys wearing multiple hats—not someone who has only worked in a narrowly focused enterprise networking role.
Must-Have Experience
8+ years of enterprise networking experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Cisco routing and switching
Fortinet firewalls
Enterprise LAN/WAN environments
Network troubleshooting and incident resolution
Infrastructure and network migration projects
Experience developing or maintaining Python scripts
Experience using Ansible for network automation
Strong understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, wireless networking, and enterprise security
Nice to Have
AWS or Azure networking experience
VMware experience
F5 or Citrix NetScaler
Cisco Wireless Controllers and 802.1X authentication
Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms such as StatSeeker
Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical teams
Summary
If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted to own complex networking initiatives—not just keep the lights on—this is an excellent opportunity. You'll work alongside experienced infrastructure professionals while helping modernize a large-scale enterprise network through high-impact migration and transformation projects.
If you enjoy solving complex networking challenges, working with cutting-edge infrastructure technologies, and making an immediate contribution, we'd love to hear from you.
