Job description

Are you a detail-oriented administrative professional who thrives in a customer-centric retail setting? Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated Service Administrator to join a dynamic and growing team in Brantford. Operating within the rapidly expanding and highly regulated cannabis industry, this role is set in a vibrant cannabis retail store environment. In this full-time role in business administration, you will expertly manage daily office tasks, inventory tracking, purchasing support, and vendor coordination, all while delivering exceptional service to storefront patrons. If you are a natural problem solver who enjoys wearing multiple hats and seamlessly balancing front-of-house customer care with back-office organization, this Service Administrator opportunity is the ideal next step for your career in business administration. You will act as the operational anchor for the team, ensuring that both the administrative and retail sides of the business run smoothly and efficiently day in and day out.

Our client offers a highly supportive and inclusive work culture where personal initiative is celebrated, team members stay for years, and long-term career growth is actively encouraged. As a Service Administrator working in this specialized cannabis retail store environment, your time will be dynamically split, balancing approximately 70% administrative support with 30% direct customer interaction. This unique blend ensures that your skills in business administration are utilized to their fullest potential while keeping you actively engaged with the local community. On the administrative side of business administration, you will be deeply involved in creating efficient document templates, tabulating monthly vendor expenses, managing complex inventory data, and performing detailed product research to keep the store competitive. Your meticulous attention to detail will directly support the management team and ensure that the dispensary remains fully compliant and operationally sound.

On the customer-facing side of this cannabis retail store environment, you will serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable brand ambassador. You will offer education-based guidance to store visitors, safely and accurately operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, and coordinate exciting promotional pop-up events with industry vendors. This Service Administrator role offers a truly dynamic business administration experience where no two days are exactly the same. We are looking for a self-managed, highly organized Service Administrator who brings a positive, can-do attitude to work every single day. In this critical business administration position, you will confidently organize your own schedule once fully trained, step up during peak retail moments, and handle urgent store priorities with complete flexibility and grace.

Our client takes great pride in fostering a warm, community-focused atmosphere where customers frequently praise the happy, helpful disposition of the staff. Candidates who thrive as a Service Administrator in this specific cannabis retail store environment are inherently solution-oriented, actively welcome constructive feedback, and approach daily operational challenges with unwavering optimism. Furthermore, while the primary operations of this business administration role are conducted in English, bilingualism in both English and French is considered a strong asset. Having bilingual capabilities allows the team to better serve a diverse clientele and communicate effectively with a wider range of industry partners, regulatory bodies, and vendors across the country.
