• Perform RF exposure analysis for wireless site configurations, including towers, rooftops, monopoles, and colocation sites.

• Develop mitigation measures such as signage, access restrictions, exclusion areas, antenna changes, height adjustments, and power limitations.

• Review surveys, installation records, site photographs, measurements, and orientation data to validate compliance.

• Confirm installed configurations against approved SC6 reports and RF designs.

• Review work completed by internal teams, subcontractors, and third party engineering providers, and resolve technical or compliance issues.

• Maintain calculations, revision history, approval records, and supporting engineering documentation while contributing to audits and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a related discipline, plus active Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada.
• French-language capability and OIQ registration for creating, reviewing and stamping SC6 reports in Quebec. APEGA or EGBC, or eligible to obtain registration in Alberta and British Columbia, will be prioritized.

• Hands on experience preparing or independently reviewing SC6 assessments, RF exposure analyses, mitigation measures, and compliance reports for wireless communication sites.

• Experience in RF engineering, electromagnetic exposure, wireless network compliance, or radio network design, including Long Term Evolution (LTE) and 5G New Radio (5G NR) systems.

• Experience reviewing RF planning specifications, Final Cell Designs (FCDs), civil drawings, site surveys, installation records, and as built documentation.

• Ability to independently assess engineering work completed by internal teams, subcontractors, or third party engineering providers and resolve technical, quality, and compliance issues.

• Strong technical writing, calculation, quality review, document control, and professional engineering review skills; experience with RF exposure or electromagnetic field modelling tools is an asset.

• Experience supporting Canadian wireless operators and Canadian RF exposure requirements; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualities

• Communicative, positive, and customer oriented.

• Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and problem solving abilities.

• Responsible, autonomous, and resourceful.

• Team oriented, organized, and committed to quality results.

• Creative and proactive, with ideas to improve products and processes.

• Able to coordinate and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
