Production planning and Central Scheduling Lead

TEAM

Production Planning and Central Scheduling

BUSINESS

Design-Build

Who you are

You are a dedicated scheduler who does well in a dynamic environment. You see continuous realignment of the schedule as the core of the job, not an interruption to it. When priorities shift, scope changes or a constraint appears, you quickly assess the impact, rebuild the plan and keep the organization moving forward with confidence.

Our projects involve many departments, deliverables, dependencies and milestones, and a change in one area often affects several others downstream. You can analyze complex, interconnected systems and anticipate how a single change will affect the whole schedule.

You design schedules that are easy to follow and give department managers the ability to make good decisions. You keep one accurate source of truth that shows every stakeholder exactly when deliverables are required. You work as a partner to the teams you support, and you simplify their work rather than adding to it.

What you bring

Required experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of dedicated planning and scheduling experience in fabrication, manufacturing, EPC or a comparable industrial environment.
  • Hands-on scheduling experience in an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Projects, or in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Projects.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

Core competencies

  • Systems thinking: the ability to manage many concurrent deliverables, dependencies and milestones.
  • A clear understanding of roles and responsibilities across departments, and of who must be informed when plans change.
  • A considerate approach to progress reporting, with focused, efficient requests that respect others’ time.
  • Advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and clear, professional communication.
