  • Procurement and Vendor Management
    • Provide technical support for the procurement process, including the preparation of technical scopes of work and evaluation criteria for major equipment and bulk materials.
    • Lead the technical evaluation of vendor and supplier bids, ensuring compliance with specifications and recommending the best-value solution.

    • Witness factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) for critical equipment as required.
  • Construction and Field Support
    • Serve as the key technical representative during the construction phase, addressing field engineering issues and providing technical clarification to the construction team.
    • Coordinate constructability reviews during the design phase to identify and resolve potential fabrication and installation issues before they impact the schedule.
    • Monitor field work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality control procedures.
    • Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation, including final handover packages and As-Built records.
  • Project Controls and Reporting
    • Collaborate with the Project Controls team on schedule development, ensuring realistic durations for engineering deliverables and procurement activities.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of engineering activities and document control against the schedule baseline.
    • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues that could potentially impact project cost or schedule performance.

  • Experience in an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) environment.
  • Familiarity with project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and document control systems.
  • Experience leading a small team of junior engineers or designers.
