  • Maintain and optimize our existing catalog of inbound and outbound Workday integrations to maximize system efficiency, scalability, and data integrity across the People ecosystem.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot complex integration issues in a timely manner, upholding strict data privacy and system reliability across HR applications.
  • Partner cross-functionally across the People Team, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to align technical integration strategy with company objectives.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including process flows, integration specifications, and standard operating procedures for ongoing system support.
  • Proactively identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities in our integration architecture, contributing to the People Systems technical roadmap
  • Stay current with new Workday releases, feature updates, and People Systems architecture best practices to continuously improve our integration infrastructure.

About you

  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
  • Proven track record in building, launching, and supporting complex enterprise integrations within the Workday ecosystem (using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect).
  • Strong technical foundation in HR technology and enterprise software integration, including experience with data formats and transformation tools (such as XML and XSLT), API-based and file-based integration methods.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end integration projects, from initial stakeholder requirements gathering to effort estimation, timeline planning, and execution.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail regarding sensitive HR data accuracy and performance tuning.
  • Collaborative cross-functional communicator capable of translating complex technical requirements into clear outcomes for non-technical People Team partners.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to navigate ambiguous problems and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.

At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
