  • Supporting network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, firewalls, switches, and access points in partnership with the Infrastructure team.

  • Supporting corporate backup systems, disaster recovery solutions, and security best practices.

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures to improve service delivery.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving processes, and supporting a collaborative technology environment. You are comfortable working hands-on across a broad range of technologies and thrive in an environment where you can balance independent problem-solving with teamwork.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in technical support, IT operations, or a related field.

  • Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure services, and enterprise technology environments.

  • Working knowledge of networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and LAN/WAN environments.

  • Experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365 user administration, and related IT systems.

  • Experience with IT service management platforms and ticketing systems; experience with Atlassian products is considered an asset.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Svante's HQ located in Burnaby, BC. The position follows a fully in-office working model (5 days/week).
