  • Support evaluation and continuous improvement of meal programs, including incorporating resident feedback.

Staff Supervision and Development:

  • Supervise cooks and kitchen staff, including scheduling, coaching, performance management, and discipline in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to staff and trainees, ensuring skill development and adherence to operational standards.
  • Maintain documentation of timesheets, staff requests, and other operational records.
  • Ensure team members follow health, safety, and food handling standards at all times.

Inventory and Resource Management:

  • Manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper labeling, storage, rotation, and security.
  • Support ordering and receiving of supplies, maintaining cost-effective and time-efficient processes.
  • Ensure all financial, operational, and inventory documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Collaboration and Agency Contribution:

  • Foster professional, inclusive, and respectful relationships with co-workers, residents, and other stakeholders.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and contribute enthusiastically to agency initiatives.
  • Assist with agency-wide projects or initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
