  • Confirm required qualifications, certifications, licences, training, and work eligibility, as applicable to the position and jurisdiction.
  • Coordinate reference checks and other approved pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Arrange interviews and communicate timely updates to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain recruitment practices consistent with applicable employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, privacy, and other relevant legislation.
  • Escalate labour availability issues, compliance concerns, and potential staffing delays to the Chief People Operations Officer.

Hiring and Onboarding Coordination

  • Coordinate hiring recommendations and approvals with the appropriate operations leaders and the Chief People Operations Officer.
  • Facilitate offer preparation, candidate acceptance, and pre-employment documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including required safety orientation, site-specific training, documentation, and mobilization arrangements.
  • Confirm that required qualifications and clearances are completed before workers are assigned to a project.
  • Work with payroll and site personnel to support a smooth transition from candidate selection to employment and site placement.

Recruitment Administration and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate candidate records, applicant tracking information, and recruitment documentation.
  • Track vacancies, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, acceptances, and hiring outcomes.
