This could include conducting robust research to prepare analyses on actual vs. market pay positioning, leveling distributions vs. market practices, offer and candidate trends, retention risk, spans / layers, or other workforce related priorities.

  • Partner with the Compensation Programs & Partnerships team to provide ongoing partnership support for various business related initiatives across Affirm’s Technology and Business functions.

  • Partner with the Senior Incentive Compensation Manager to provide operational support for the incentive compensation design process (which can include coordinating kickoff meetings, facilitating focus group feedback sessions with leaders, creating and / or updating incentive plan documents).

  • Engage in ongoing processes and special projects to refine and uphold Compensation’s programmatic frameworks.

  • Serve as subject matter expert, alongside other compensation team partners, to provide education and consultation to stakeholders on our compensation structure, guidance, and various compensation programs.

  • Maintain our standard job architecture catalog in Workday and internal team documents.

  • May participate in sessions with external survey companies (such as AON) to stay up to date on market trends and share insights that can help the team maintain competitive rewards structures and programs.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of core compensation concepts and programs.

  • Experience with leading and managing projects from start to finish using a standard project management lifecycle approach.

  • Strong team orientation with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across the internal team and cross functional partners.

  • Strong relationship management skills with the proven ability to consult, influence, and maintain positive relationships with business stakeholders.

  • Passion for working with data elements and compiling analysis to “tell the story” and create solutions. Proficient with Google Sheets and Google Slides.

  • Someone who can pay close attention to detail with the ability to multitask across several deliverables at the same time while maintaining a proactive approach to work assignments in a fast paced environment.
