Job description

Hello. It’s nice to meet you.

If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. We can’t promise where you’ll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started So, if you’re driven to make an impact and bring your best to our tight-knit, people-first culture, we want to hear from you.

Are you ready for this?

At the All Weather Group, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won’t hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve.

As a frontline team member, you shape our customers' experience with All Weather. The last mile, the final yard – every day, you have the power to create positive and lasting memories in the hearts and minds of customers and homeowners by letting them know that they’re in your good hands.

We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Project/Business Development Manager – Multi-Family to grow our multi-family business in British Columbia.

This role is focused on new business development and project sales. You’ll use your industry experience, existing relationships and knowledge of the multi-family market to identify opportunities, build connections with key decision-makers, and bring new projects and customers to All Weather.

The ideal candidate already knows the industry, understands how multi-family projects move from opportunity to sale, and is comfortable getting out into the market to build business. You’re proactive, persistent and willing to pursue opportunities, even when it takes time and effort to get a foot in the door.

Compensation: $70,000 base salary plus commission, with the opportunity to earn $140,000+ in total annual compensation based on performance.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Project Sales

  • Identify, pursue and secure new multi-family sales opportunities across British Columbia.
  • Develop relationships with developers, builders, general contractors and other key industry contacts to generate new business.
  • Leverage your industry knowledge and existing network to identify upcoming projects and get All Weather involved early in the process.
  • Proactively build your pipeline, follow up on leads and turn opportunities into sales.
  • Develop new accounts while growing business with existing customers.
  • Work toward sales targets, revenue growth and profitability.

Project Development & Sales Management

  • Identify project requirements and recommend products and solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate quotes, proposals and pricing to support competitive and profitable project sales.
  • Present product options, communicate value and negotiate agreements to secure business.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through to project award.
  • Track opportunities, maintain accurate customer and project records, and provide regular pipeline and sales forecasts.

Industry Relationships & Market Development

  • Stay informed about upcoming developments, market activity and competitor offerings.
  • Represent All Weather at industry events, trade shows and builder functions to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Work with internal teams to support customer requirements and move projects forward.
  • Build All Weather’s presence in the multi-family market by consistently pursuing new contacts, projects and business opportunities.

What You Bring

Experience & Industry Knowledge

  • Proven experience in multi-family sales, project sales or business development within the construction, building products, windows and doors, or related industry.
  • An established network of industry contacts, ideally including developers, builders, general contractors and other multi-family decision-makers.
  • A track record of identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships and generating sales.
  • Understanding of the multi-family construction and development process, including project timelines, quoting and procurement.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline, preparing quotes and negotiating project pricing.

Skills & Approach

  • A proactive, self-starting approach to sales. You look for opportunities, make connections and take action rather than waiting for leads to come to you.
  • Persistence and resilience when developing new business, including the ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum in a competitive market.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer needs with sales targets and profitability.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects at different stages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM or ERP systems to manage accounts, opportunities and forecasts.

Additional Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field is an asset; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • The ability to read architectural or engineering drawings is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and satisfactory driving record.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Why Join All Weather?

Join a team where your industry knowledge, relationships and ability to develop new business can make a direct impact. You’ll have the opportunity to grow our presence in the multi-family market, develop new customer relationships and help turn project opportunities into long-term business.

Let’s get after it.

What’s in it for you?

Our story

It all began in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta when a farmer, a salesman and a railroader created All Weather Windows. More than 45-years later, we’ve grown into a group of companies still proudly serving residential and commercial customers across Western Canada. We make premium products right here on home soil, designed and tested for Canada's harshest weather conditions, delivered with the promise of performance and style. Our purpose to Never Stop Building is a testament to the character of our people, because we’re always striving and always looking for fellow “builders”, just like you. Diverse by design.

From day one, diversity has been our greatest source of strength. Today, we’re a company where 55 languages are proudly spoken, with the skill of an international community reflected in all of our products and services. We have people who’ve been with us for generations and we’re an open door to new comers, first timers and everyone in-between. We’re continuously working to build and promote an inclusive environment that attracts, celebrates and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by every definition. Where everyone can bring their best and full selves to work, because what makes you different, makes all the difference to us.

The ability to make an impact.

The All Weather Group is a place where potential finds opportunity, leadership truly listens and the ability to make an impact has nothing to do with your title. We know none of us are better, smarter or stronger than all of us. So, we invite people at all levels of the organization to speak up, chip in and put ideas into action to help shape our work, careers and company.

A culture of connection and care.

People are the beating heart of our tight-knit community, so their growth is an important way we live up to our purpose, to never stop building. We view wellness as being about the whole person and have designed our programs to support physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing at work and in our lives outside of All Weather.

We make a difference.

We’re honoured to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies 14 years in a row. But, we also know that we’re far from perfect. We’re committed to positively impacting careers, lives and communities across Canada and proudly give back in four key areas; strengthening families, providing shelter, supporting education and, health and wellness. Over the years this has included charitable giving, partnerships, employee volunteerism and supporting families in need, but one thing never changes – we show up for the moments that matter. If you’re passionate about creating a positive impact too, we need your voice to help grow this proud cultural tradition, because our work here is never done.
