Job description

Be Part of Something Uncommon

At Langdon Hall, we believe in creating more than just memorable experiences — we create a sense of place. As a proud member of Relais & Châteaux, we offer our guests and team members a haven of warmth, authenticity, and refined comfort in the heart of Ontario’s countryside.

Built on heritage and rooted in hospitality, Langdon Hall is not just a hotel — it’s a community. Unlike corporate brands, we are privately owned, values-driven, and proudly Canadian. Our culture is built on relationships: with our guests, with our land, and with one another.

If you're seeking more than just a job — if you want to belong to a team where your contribution matters — we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

We are currently hiring for the position of full-time Room Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and restocking all supplies and materials required for daily room cleaning tasks
  • Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to Langdon Hall standards, ensuring linens are refreshed, amenities are fully stocked, and rooms are presented to the highest level of cleanliness and detail
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned hallways, corridors, service areas, and other public spaces as directed
  • Following all health and safety procedures, including safe lifting practices and proper handling of cleaning chemicals, while promptly reporting any hazards or maintenance concerns
  • Communicating effectively with the housekeeping team and support an exceptional guest experience through teamwork, professionalism, and prompt response to guest needs and requests

You’ll be part of a passionate, dedicated team that takes pride in what we do and in where we do it.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

The Room Attendant position is physically active and requires the ability to perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout the scheduled shift.

  • Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stretching, reaching, and repetitive movements associated with cleaning guestrooms and making beds.
  • Regular lifting and carrying of linens, towels, cleaning supplies, and other housekeeping materials.
  • Pushing and pulling housekeeping carts, laundry bins, vacuum cleaners, and other cleaning equipment.
  • Moving or repositioning guestroom furnishings and equipment as required to complete cleaning tasks safely.
  • Working with approved cleaning products and equipment while following established health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining efficiency and attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

All duties are performed in accordance with established workplace safety practices, with accommodations available in accordance with applicable legislation.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates a genuine commitment to uncommon hospitality
  • Brings a positive, adaptable, and respectful attitude
  • Values consistency, sincerity, and care in their work
  • Is available to work on weekends and holidays

Relevant experience is always an asset — but we also believe in training for skill and hiring for heart.

Why Langdon Hall?

Working with us means becoming part of a legacy of excellence and a future of possibility. We offer:

  • A supportive and respectful workplace culture
  • Competitive compensation and gratuities
  • Complimentary meals while on shift
  • Uniforms and free parking
  • Wellness programs and staff appreciation events
  • Opportunities for internal growth and cross-training
