PressReader is a rapidly growing technology company that partners with the world’s leading publishers to deliver content to millions of users in over 160 countries. Our progressive approach to digital distribution has allowed publishers such as The Washington Post, The Guardian, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, The Globe and Mail, and Vogue to find new audiences through business partnerships, including airlines, hotels, cruise ships, libraries, and thousands of other companies worldwide.

Our technology also powers Editions+, a white-label solution that enables publishers to deliver their digital content in interactive ways. Editions+ allows them to build a customizable platform that supports a wide range of revenue opportunities.

We have an opportunity for a Manager, Editions+ to join our Sales Content team.

As a Manager, Editions+, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of publishing partners, helping them maximize the value of their Editions+ products while identifying opportunities to improve engagement, performance, and long-term partnership success. This is an individual contributor role focused on managing client relationships and accounts, rather than directly managing people. You’ll work closely with partners and internal teams across Product, Content, Sales, and Operations to deliver a strong client experience and support the continued evolution of the Editions+ platform.

In this role, you will:

  • Own relationships with assigned PressReader Editions+ partners, managing all aspects of their digital edition's products.
  • Manage and maintain partner web and app products, including version upgrades, operating system requirements, publisher-requested changes, and platform updates.
  • Contribute to internal efforts to improve the PressReader Editions+ platform, Hub, and other tools used to build, operate, and deliver PressReader Editions+ products.
  • Contribute feedback, ideas, and recommendations to the Editions+ Product Lead to support the continued evolution of the Editions+ product.
  • Collaborate with the Editions+ team to identify and compile sales and marketing best practices from partners across global markets.
  • Proactively identify and share relevant best practices with Editions+ partners to help drive user engagement, increase subscriptions and individual sales, and strengthen publisher brand awareness.
  • Showcase successful marketing concepts and strategies used by other Editions+ partners that may be relevant and adaptable to a partner’s goals and audience.
  • Participate in Content Group meetings and stay informed on publishing trends relevant to Editions+ partners.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with key clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
  • Track and submit quarterly KPI results.
  • Contribute to the achievement of PressReader Editions+ team sales goals.
  • Use critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve partner, platform, and operational issues.
  • Other duties and responsibilities consistent with the role, as required.

You are a great fit if you:

  • Have experience in account management, customer success, partnerships, digital publishing, or another client-facing role.
  • Are a proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently, making decisions, and taking ownership without waiting for direction.
  • Have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple client relationships, projects, and competing priorities at the same time.
  • Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with sound judgment and a practical approach to decision-making.
  • Are comfortable using data, reporting, and business insights to guide conversations and recommendations.
  • Are organized and disciplined with follow-up, account management, CRM activity, and the use of business or performance data.
  • Are comfortable working with digital products and partnering with technical/product teams.
  • Can confidently balance client-facing relationship management with technical and product-related conversations.
  • Are curious about digital publishing, audience engagement, and evolving media trends.
  • Can balance commercial objectives with strong partner service and long-term relationship building.
  • Enjoy collaborating across Product, Sales, Content, Marketing, and technical teams.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships and enjoy acting as a strategic partner to clients.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both internal stakeholders and external partners, including presenting information and leading client conversations.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with publishers, media companies, or subscription-based digital products.
  • Experience managing mobile apps, websites, or other digital products.
  • Experience leading business reviews or presenting performance recommendations to clients.
  • Experience working with international clients or across multiple markets.
  • Knowledge of digital subscriptions, audience engagement, or publisher monetization strategies.
  • Additional language skills, including Spanish, French, German, Turkish, or other international languages.
